Spinning Like a Top

My head, that is. Or at least, what it feels like when I move too suddenly. As a friend recently put it, all the discomfort of a carnival ride without the fun. Finishing week two of what appears to be an inner ear infection, which causes vertigo. I had this virus once about twenty-five years ago. No cure, just let it run its course.

This too shall pass.

I hope you feel better soon. That sounds horrible. ;(

The horrible part is that it slows me down, and I was already slow enough.

Thank you kindly for the good wishes. Today it is half as bad as it was last week, so I have hopes it will disappear entirely soon.

Didn't Alfred Hitchcock do a story about that?;)

Get well soon.

Heh-heh. Vertigo indeed!

Today I have the dubious benefit of a new trick - instead of spinning wildly but only sometimes, I have lost my balance most of the time. So, no more tops, just moving like being drunk, without all of the fun of drinking...

Well, that doesn't sound like fun at all. Then again, I always enjoyed the drink bit; not the sobering up!

Hope you get well soon, P.

Feeling better now, Jaye, and thank you for the good wishes. Yes, that is just what it has felt like - as if I had to much to drink and the room starts spinning around...
